How we Started

Imagine being given your dream car without having had driving lessons or access to a mechanic.

This is how most employees felt when the first computers landed on their desk. It was something Paul Abbey observed whilst working in the Financial Services Industry and something he felt he could help with.

With a passion for technology and becoming increasingly disillusioned with employment, in December 1994 he started an IT consultancy service offering advice, custom installation of equipment and most importantly training in how to use it.

Using his knowledge of the Financial Services sector he became a national trainer for a major IFA BackOffice system. Training really complimented the other services offered. The business grew and when he met Craig Williams a few years later, they decided form a company.

Software into Action Ltd was incorporated in 1999 and now looks after 250 businesses around the UK. Having never advertised, our growth has been by referral from satisfied Clients.

We still love what we do.
